The Traveler - Beacons
No one trully knows who placed the beacons there. Their materials and style seem alien to this landscape, distinctly different from the Towers themselves. All that we know is the Light emanates from them. It calls us and guides us in our pilgrimage.
This a concept for my personal project. My idea is that at the end of climbing each Tower, these mechanisms activate and point the way to next one. These started as 3D Coat sculpts, then textured and rendered out in Blender, and finished with a little touchup in Photoshop. Been having a lot of fun with this process.
