Background Designer

From early in pre production, our goal was to honor the essence of the 80’s toys. As a Background I contributed to the design of many different locations, props and vehicles. In communications with my Supervisor, I expressed the importance to include more ideation sketching and isometric views in our pipeline, as well as utilizing Blender as our main 3D program for modeling and rendering. I developed locations from early exploration sketches, top down maps, isometric views, and 3D blocking models all the way to black and white layout drawings, finished paintings, color scripts, vehicles and props design.
